House Rules

Please note: to keep our community safe and sincere, we reserve the right to (temporarily) pause or block/remove accounts that do not follow our House Rules.

1. Serious intentions only

‍Dating is an adventure, and we don't expect you to know everything on day one. However, we do expect a basic intention to build a lasting relationship. If you're only looking for fleeting flings, Zuza isn't the place for you.

2. Your profile is the truth

Honesty is our foundation. Misrepresenting your age, relationship status, or intentions is grounds for immediate account suspension.

3. Recent and authentic photos

‍Your photos must be recent and recognizable. We don’t allow outdated or heavily filtered photos that don't reflect who you are today.

4. Respect each other's time (No-show policy)

‍GWhen you schedule a (video) call, your date adjusts their plans accordingly. Ghosting or not showing up without cancelling at least 12 hours in advance damages trust. That's why we have a strict policy:

• 2nd no-show: Your account is immediately frozen for 3 days. You can't respond to messages or receive new match proposals.
• 3rd no-show: Permanent removal from Zuza without refund.

Cancelling: Cancel at least 12 hours before the call via your Zuza account. If you do, it won't count as a no-show.

Important: joining more than 5 minutes late also counts as a no-show. It's not reasonable to expect your match to wait indefinitely for you to dial in.

5. Zero tolerance for misconduct

‍We do not tolerate aggression, harassment, or inappropriate behavior in any form. One verified report is enough for a permanent ban.

6. Absolute discretion

‍What happens at Zuza, stays at Zuza. Sharing screenshots or private information outside the platform is strictly prohibited

7. Mutual respect

‍We celebrate diversity. Every member deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of their background.

8. No commercial activity

Zuza is for dating, not for business. Any form of commercial outreach, networking, spam, or attempts to sell products or services to other members is strictly prohibited.

9. Respect privacy (No stalking)

‍Do not contact members outside the Zuza platform (e.g., via LinkedIn or Instagram) without their explicit consent. Only move to other channels if you have both agreed to do so in our secure chat. Respect each other’s boundaries.

Help us keep Zuza safe

‍Our community only works if we look out for one another. If a member behaves inappropriately or violates these rules, please report this immediately via support@zuza.nl. We investigate every report thoroughly and discreetly.
